Job Description: Patient Service Facilitator (PSF)
Description:
MCMH is seeking a motivated and amiable individual interested in working in a busy community-based mental health clinic to join our Intake & Referral Department. The PSF role is a full-time, on-site position, whose primary function is to ensure that intake appointments are received and processed in a timely fashion. The PSF serves as the initial point of contact for all new requests for service and must represent the organization in a clear, comprehensive and professional manner
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or High School diploma.
- Bilingual (Spanish) required.
- Fluency in general office computer systems.
- Experience working within an EHR/Electronic Documentation, a plus.
- Comfort working in a community-based setting with a diverse patient population.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational, verbal communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week
- $33,000 - $38,000 Annual Salary Range (based on qualifications and experience)

Job Description: Intake Specialist
Description:
MCMH is seeking a part-time (6-10 hours/week), fee-for-service clinician to conduct in-person Intake Evaluations (Psychosocial assessments) for adults and/or children. This is a great opportunity to be a part of our dynamic Intake Team delivering comprehensive, evidence-based, high quality assessments in a community-based setting with a diverse patient population. Supervision is provided at no cost. Daytime, Evenings and Saturdays hours are needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- NY State License (LMSW, LCSW, Psychologist)
- Experience working within an EHR/Electronic Health Record and general IT systems
- Prior experience in assessments and diagnosing required
$70 Fee per service (English-speaking)
$75 Fee per service (Bilingual Spanish)

Job Description: Psychotherapist/Mental Health Clinician

Job Opening: - Therapist/Counselor for outpatient Substance Use Program
Description:
The FAIR Program at Metropolitan Center for Mental Health (MCMH) is seeking a full-time clinician to join our clinical team to provide therapeutic services for individual adults and older adults in need of substance use services and/or mental health services.
Duties &Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial screenings and assessments, including but not limited to, psycho-social histories, drug and alcohol evidence-based screenings. Develop and prepare accurate screening, intake, and assessment reports, including the formulation of substance use and mental health diagnostic impressions.
- Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual counseling/therapy sessions to patients
- Facilitate evidence-based group counseling with patients
Skills & Qualifications:
- License to practice (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, CASAC ADVANCED/MASTER)
- Experience working in substance abuse treatment setting
- Familiarity with OASAS regulations A PLUS
- Bilingual English/Spanish A PLUS
$50,00 - $68,000 Annual Salary Range (based on qualifications and experience)

MCMH is an approved NHSC Site -The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) offers tax-free loan repayment assistance to support qualified health care providers who choose to take their skills where theyre most needed.
NHSC Loan Repayment Program (via HRSA)
Licensed health care providers may earn up to $50,000 toward student loans in exchange for a two-year commitment at an NHSC-approved site through the NHSC Loan Repayment Program (NHSC LRP).Accepted participants may serve as primary care medical, dental, or mental/behavioral health clinicians and can choose to serve longer for additional loan repayment support.
Priority consideration is given to eligible applicants whose NHSC-approved site has a HPSA score of 26 to 14, in descending order. Eligible applicants may receive up to $50,000 in loan repayment for full-time work (up to $25,000 for half-time work) for an initial service commitment until funding is exhausted.
Students to Service Loan Repayment Program
Medical students (MD or DO) may earn up to $120,000 in their final year of school through the Students to Students to Service Loan Repayment Program.
OMH-Psychiatrist Loan Repayment Program
OMH has received approval to administer its own segment of the Doctors Across New York (DANY) loan repayment program for newly recruited Psychiatrists. Beginning April 1, 2016 OMH will be able to make awards of $150,000 distributed over five years for newly recruited Psychiatrists that meet the eligibility requirements and commit to working at OMH facilities for five years. Specific details regarding the program and eligibility requirements will be available soon.
