Behavioral Health NYC IPA, LLC (BHNYC) is a community-based behavioral health provider network, made up of ten behavioral health care agencies that joined together to provide comprehensive, rapid access to care in all five boroughs of New York City.
The Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (MITPP)
The Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (MITPP) provides training in psychoanalytic theory, technique, and clinical practice to qualified candidates in the mental health professions. In conjunction with the Metropolitan Center for Mental Health (MCMH), MITPP makes low cost, long term psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy available to community residents. MITPP and MCMH also support research and scientific programs in conjunction with the Metropolitan Society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists (MSPP).

New York State has a large, multi-faceted mental health system which serves over 500,000 individuals each year. The Office of Mental Health operates psychiatric centers across the state, and also regulates, certifies and oversees more than 2,500 programs which are operated by local governments and nonprofit agencies. These programs include various inpatient and outpatient programs, emergency, community support, residential and family care programs.

The Coalition of Voluntary Mental Health Agencies, Inc. is the umbrella advocacy organization of New York City's mental health community, representing over 100 non-profit community based mental health agencies that serve more than 500,000 clients in the five boroughs of New York City. Founded in 1972, The Coalition is entirely membership supported with limited foundation and government funding for special purpose advocacy and assistance projects.

Federation of Mental Health Centers, Inc.
The Federation of Mental Health Centers is an advocacy organization which represents small to midsize community-based agencies providing professional clinic psychotherapy, CDT and other services. Since 1960, the Federation has been promoting high quality, low-cost psychotherapy and CDT services to poor, working class, and other underserved communities by assuring the viability of these independent, not-for-profit, state-licensed mental health centers.
